Program Overview
The workshop will feature a variety of activities, including:
Concerts by Professor An Tran and Guest Artists.
Student Concerts: Multiple public performance opportunities.
Technique Class: Daily morning technique and warm-up sessions to prepare students for focused work.
Ensemble Rehearsals: Morning ensemble training to strengthen musicianship, sight-reading, and collaboration, culminating in the closing Gala Concert.
Masterclasses: Individualized instruction with An Tran and guest artists.
Lectures and Career Talks: Discussions on interpretation, practice strategies, and professional development.
Daily Meditation Sessions (New for this year)
Community Outreach Concerts (New for this year): Students will present outreach performances, gaining real-world experience while sharing music with underserved communities.
Through collaboration and sharing of learning experiences, students will build long-lasting friendships and support networks, fostering teamwork and mutual inspiration, enhancing the performance level of each student.

Eligibility and Application Process
ELIGIBILITY:
The workshop is open to classical guitarists of all ages and nationalities who are committed to artistic growth and active participation.
Participants should prepare a performance program of at least 10 minutes to present during the workshop.
SKILL LEVEL:
All skill levels are welcome. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate strong motivation, thoughtful preparation, and a willingness to engage fully in all workshop activities.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Performance Videos:
Two contrasting works
2. Personal Introduction Video:
Please record a short video to introduce yourself.
In this video, you may include:
A brief introduction about yourself (name, age, and your guitar background)
Why you would like to participate in the An Tran International Guitar Workshop
What you hope to learn from the program. Please share one specific aspect of your playing that you are currently trying to improve
A musical experience that has influenced you
(Encouraged) Something about your personality, interests, or your approach to learning music
There are no right or wrong answers. We are interested in how you think, how you express yourself, and the sincerity of your response.

No need to prepare anything too elaborate, feel free to speak naturally
You may speak in Vietnamese or English
No script is required, but your ideas should be clear and coherent
The video should be recorded in one take, with minimal editing
Both videos to be submitted using Youtube links.
DEADLINE:
May 15th, 2026
RESULTS:
The admissions committee will evaluate based on the 2 videos submitted by each applicant. We will notify the results by email before May 30, 2026.

Fees
Participation Fee: 6,000,000 VND (to be paid upon acceptance).
The participation fee does not include accommodation or transportation expenses.
